52.1. By the Mount (Sinai),

52.2. And by a Book inscribed,

52.3. In parchments outstretched,

52.4. And by Bayt al-Ma‘mūr (the House continuously frequented),

52.5. And by the canopy (of heaven) raised high,

52.6. And by the sea kept filled (and ready to overflow),

52.7. The punishment of your Lord will certainly take place!

52.8. There is none that can avert it.

52.9. On that Day, the heaven will be convulsed violently;

52.10. And the mountains will move away with an awesome movement.
